i am an artist and illustrator currently based in zwolle, nl. working in many different mediums has always been a fascination of mine, and currently i most enjoy working either partially digitally (scanning a pencil drawing and coloring in photoshop) or analog (with watercolour or panpastel).

something that characterizes my work is the use of stark linework and messy colours. i enjoy working with essays, poetic text, audio and academic writing as sources of inspiration.

my biggest inspiration comes from the natural world. the stories i write are about connection, meditation and reminiscing about how we as humans connect with the objects, people, plants, animals, artefacts around us.
